Tim, another great tip. When doing my interviews I always go in with an idea. I almost always changing the idea because of how things change in post. But, I usually end up with a video that my visitors get good, free, information. Of course, that

  12. Viditude says:

I usually give them only 15 minutes max to come up with the answer. Then about a 1/2 hour dissecting they tweaked answer for video. Getting them to think in terms of the audience and not using the word “I” … that can take hours upon hours upon hours LOL

  13. reelseo says:

You’re welcome! They’re not really secrets — just things some people haven’t thought of yet, that’s all.

  14. reelseo says:

Picking a niche and dominating it is definitely important. If subscribers don’t know what kind of content they’re subscribing to nor what they can expect from the next video, it’s probably not going to grow too quickly.

I hope so! That’s why I do these — to help.

I think it really depends on your content. For yours, more frequent updates may be great. For others, like fwong, one a week is plenty.

i usually just try to put up things i think some people might find interesting. there is no real formula to my channels that’s why everything is so haywire and may well be why i don’t have more subs than i do also. the way i describe my channel is a mashup of all kinds of things, how to auto repair, vlogs, and just neat things i run into out and about with a little bit of entertainment stuff mixed in occasionally too. thought you guys might have come to Nashville again for SMP Films visit :0(

A great simple message, it sounds like you boiled one of your blog posts down to its bare essentials. I think this will help a lot of people.

  25. HDnatureTV says:

Here’s a story for you. Youtube is favoring Hollywood TV Shows & youtube backed studios with their contract partners over Web Shows by youtube partners. My friends and I had several SHOWS (browse shows) on the front page in several categories only to disappear over night along with income and views. Now, you must click 5 levels down to SELL ALL and then change the filter from TV SHOWS to either ALL or WEB Shows & Bingo you found us. Change the rank to most popular and we r back near the top.
